Chengdu-Agara (Turkmenistan) All-Rail Train Service Commences Operations

On June 9, a China-Europe freight train loaded with 55 containers of polyester chips and TV spare parts departed from Chengdu International Railway Port Chengxiang Station, bound for Agara Station in Turkmenistan via the Khorgos port. The successful operation of this train marks the official entry of the Chengdu-Agara all-iron China-Europe freight train into the regular operational phase. As a result, Chengdu's international freight train network now covers 137 overseas stations.

Chengdu Central Asia Railway Express

It is reported that the train this time will adopt the Central Asia all rail direct transportation plan, from Chengdu to Agala Station in Turkmenistan, with an estimated total travel time of about 15 days, achieving efficient direct connection between the two logistics channels. In recent years, Chengdu International Railway Port has continued to deepen its presence in the Central Asian market and has fully achieved interconnectivity with the five Central Asian countries.

China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan Turkey International Multimodal Transport Departure Ceremony

In October 2025, Chengdu International Railway Port successfully shipped the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan Turkey international multimodal transport train, which was assembled at Kashgar International Hub Port in Xinjiang and transported by TIR highway to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The operation of this all rail train complements the existing public rail intermodal transportation plan, building a diversified logistics system of "direct railway+public rail intermodal transportation", providing enterprises with more flexible transportation options.

It is reported that in the next step, Chengdu International Railway Port will continue to deepen its cultivation of the Central Asian international market, continuously optimize the layout and transportation system of international trains, and steadily promote the improvement of quality and efficiency of Turkmenistan's normalized trains.
